This position is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction on Engineering Department managed projects.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with other inter-departmental team members, including the operations staff at all locations, outside support vendors and consultants.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Manage & execute complex & multi-faceted projects.
Direct multiple concurrent projects ensuring compliance with budgeted goals & funding.
Provide expert consultation in conceptual design, development & implementation of manufacturing process quality & cost effective improvements.
Ensure compliance with engineering related federal, state & local regulatory standards & directives.
Identify technological alternatives and emerging advances related to Boar's Head manufacturing processes & facilities.
Interface & negotiate with outside vendors & equipment manufacturers to obtain best value services & goods.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical is preferred.
5-7 years experience managing groups that provide diverse technical support.
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
American Meat Institute (AMI) guidelines for sanitary designs.
Strong project management & organizational skills.
Demonstrated track record of successful completion of projects within time & budget constraints.
Knowledge of food manufacturing facilities requirements, with a focus on food safety.
Ability to interface with multiple levels within an organization to meet goals & objectives.
Previous experience in regulatory compliance and utility management.
Experience in manufacturing equipment selection, sourcing & installation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
