DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Mapper development team through design and maintenance of the Mapper engineering environments (development, continuous integration and integration)
  • Work with the infrastructure team to ensure smooth deployments to QA and production environments
  • Provide engineering support for system design and implementation of the Mapper systems

Qualifications

  • U. S. Citizenship Required
  • Active TS clearance
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelors in a Computer related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Must possess solid understanding of network engineering and security principles (e. g. protocols, routing, switching, filtering, Firewall rules, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Linux commands and tools
  • Experience writing administrative shell scripts (Bash, Python, or Perl)
  • Experience with Host and Network security and tools (iptables, AppArmor, SElinux, nmap, audit, tripwire, inotify, or Wireshark/tcpdump)
  • Virtual system provisioning experience (VMware, Openstack, Cloudformation, or Vagrant)
  • Familiarity with centralized monitoring systems - Zabbix (preferred), Zenoss, Cacti
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, Maria DB, or SQLite)
  • Software package management (Debian-Apt, RHEL-Yum etc.)
  • Systems configuration management (CFEngine, Chef, Salt, Ansible, or Puppet)
  • Understanding of Web services - Apache, Django, REST


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
