CLINIC NURSE

Located just 15 minutes off Route 288 and serving the communities of Powhatan and Goochland, GPCS is a small but mighty team.
We are now seeking to add the following to our team.
Clinic Nurse - Part Time The incumbent must be licensed as an LPN with at least one year of experience.
This position's primary responsibility is to provide medical services along with coordination of care for children, adolescents, and adults who may have been diagnosed with mental health, intellectual and/or developmental, or substance use disorders.
The position will be 24 hours per week with 8 hours being on Wednesdays and the remaining 16 hours to be coordinated.
This position serves both Goochland and Powhatan Clinics.
The successful candidate for this position must possess a working knowledge of nursing services, professional standards of practice and techniques, and experience working with persons with severe mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, substance use, and intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Experience with co-occurring disorders and crisis medical assessment is beneficial.
This position will require excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills, including documentation in an electronic health record, use of Office 365 applications and Zoom; and the ability to coordinate with other Psychiatric Services, GPCS Agency staff, Private Providers, and Community Agencies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
