What Youll Be Doing:
The Dev Technology Business Development Team is seeking writing support of Federal proposals from Request for Information (RFI) or Sources Sought to Pre-RFP (Request for Proposal) through final delivery of the response to the Federal government.
The Proposal/Technical Writer supports technical writing, editing and activities within the business development team.
The Proposal/Technical Writer will be responsible for working with capture and proposal teams to support writing efforts for government solicitations and corporate materials, including:
Support the business development team and Proposal teams in responding to RFIs/Sources Sought, RFPs, and other solicitation needs for Government proposals Analyze solicitation requirements and work to understand client needs to draft compelling and compliant content Support drafting/development of technical approaches, past performance descriptions, staffing plans, resumes, and management narratives for large scale, complex, strategic proposals Help develop and draft win themes, strengths, discriminators, and strategies Work with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Proposal Manager, Subject Matter Experts, and Teaming Partners to obtain content necessary to draft compelling proposal sections Interview SMEs, consultants, capture managers, and other proposal team members to obtain information for proposals and then independently develop technically clear and compelling proposal content Provide insight on proposal content and where the team can emphasize or incorporate strengths and benefits to improve responses Organize and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously under tight/changing deadline Participate in daily stand-up calls detailing status of the proposal sections for which the writer is responsible, and identify any issues or resource requirements Participate hands on in all phases of the proposal development process Participate in strategy and solutioning sessions to develop winning approaches Assist in proposal graphic conceptualization and creation Prepare past performance questionnaires to be completed by customers, if/when needed Support corporate writing and editing efforts as needed (marketing materials, website content, etc.
) Maintain and update SharePoint repositories with re-use content and past writing Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience Bachelors degree 5-8 years of experience providing technical writing support for Federal proposals or related field Interest in learning about emerging technologies, industry trends, Dev Technologys projects, and more Ability to analyze and understand complex technical topics Strong writing, editing, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong grammar and editing skills Confidence in interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and able to transform technical details into legible easy-to-understand narrative Detailed-oriented and well organized Ability to work flexible hours as needed for proposal preparation Ability to meet deadlines and to be flexible under changing requirements Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) and Microsoft SharePoint Preferred Skills and Experience Proficient understanding of Federal Acquisition and procurement process Knowledge of Federal Contracting structure and agency acquisition procedures required PandoLogic.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
